Wait till after Christmas?

    Im going to buy an external harddrive on amazon.co.uk , but I was thinking maybe I should wait till after christmas, will the after christmas sales reduce the prices of online goods also?

    Some UK stores are raising their prices due to strengthening dollar (higher base price) and the fact that GBP is dropping in value vs. most currencies. Due to this I would expect a increase/same price.

    I was thinking this myself, on some websites products with sterling are about 10 figures cheaper than gettin it in euro ,so now if parity comes then they might raise it

    Amazon may not ship the disk to you anyway. They tend not to sell anything that has WEEE applied, to Ireland.

    WEEE, recycling fee applied to electronics goods. Amazon claim this is the reason they don't ship electronics to Ireland, even though that's a load of bollox.
