...with armpads and kneepads, apparently. Looks like a lot of fun, falls might be better on a frozen river compared to a road, less scratchy stuff, more slidey all the way.

That's all well and good if your going in a staight line!! Try take a turn at 25/30kph on black ice. :O

simple to cycle on ice, as long as you dont steer, use the front brake, or have any sudden bursts of accelation, i have learnt the hard way on a few ocasions, and it was hard, especally when i landed

yeah, must have spiked tyres, been looking , and they seem to leave tyre track in some of the smooth places.., but kinda hard to tell..

might explain why they dont just hit the back brake and adopt the speedway position... much more fun..
