    Just got BT 24mbps broadband...
At the moment its running at 8mbps which is expected as iv read on here that in the first few days its around that and gets faster after the 2 or 3 days...

Anyway was just wondering if using the DSL splitters supplied by BT would be better or more sutied than the ones supplied by Eircom (7yrs old from previous broadband)? Are they all the same?

just wondering, but why would it only connect at 8megs for the first few days, then go up after that?
