For Ireland, and anywhere. This is a thread to record the world economy stats, and for the record I hope this recession to be as mild as possible. Anyway. The independent. GNP down 5% this year.

Some good news at the end though -

Net exports, on the other hand, were up €2.1bn.

Or is it? It is net after all, maybe we are not spending on imports.

Further proof that this economy is heavily dependent on MNC's and construction related activity, lets hope the first crowd stays for all our sakes.
