I have noticed the web site prices that An Post quote for postage are way too much compared to the actual price you pay when you post it.

Now this is very annoying as I like to give as accurate a price as possible for postage when selling online.

I have just been to the post office to check postage for my current listing. According to the web site it would be €25 to post to UK, but this morning the lady told me it was €7.50. Grrrrrr.

I have contacted An Post about this before, but they insist that the web prices are correct.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem, posting from Ireland?

I've found it very random myself when sending games or dvds I;ve paid anything from 1 to 3 euro! There are differences between parcels and packages and I'm not sure which is which.
