Here is a problem i knew about but didn't know they had not corrected the issue of scratching the disks. Or have they?? As i am hoping to get a 360 soon this would be nice to know they have corrected the problem!

link to the story of the guy who is bringing 50k case against Microsoft for just this problem and they had solutions!!

    Flash it and make Backups.

Followed by a class-action lawsuit if they continue to banning people from Live for using backup copies.

Ok but its a little unreasonable of Microsoft to expect everyone to flash their games and back them up when I have an acceptable data medium in the disk! boggles the mind!
So i assume then that this issue is still outstanding and has not been corrected in the newest manufactured 360's.

If i have to load the games in their entirety onto the hard drive, is the 60gb model enough or should i splash out the 100 dollars extra for the 120gb?

go for the 120 but the 60 would e more than enough. Its just that you'd be surprised at how quick you can end up filling it with movies, add ons and music.

the discs scratches where a problem with first gen x360's. Haven't heard of them doing that in a long long time. There is a mod you can do to stop it happening anyway which doesn't involve flashing anything.
