after a nice sika calf, pigeon breast is my favourite game meat .pigeon s are flocking strong now i have the field beside my house full of them every morning ,there roasting in the wood 50 yards away .they make better shooting fighting into the wood than decoying ,but there is not enough wind to flight this week .

Shot two last week and took the breasts off them yesterday. Lovely dark meat and I'm looking forward to quickly pan frying them in butter - they are delicious!
