    Hey all,

Just watching 'A Bridge Too Far' for the first time; wow has it got an amazing cast! The only other movie with a similar big name cast that stands out in my mind is 'The Great Escape'. I suppose Sin City had a pretty big name cast as well, and Glengarry Glen Ross. Which movies stand out for you because of the all star quality of the cast?

    Glengary Glenross

Every actor is top of his craft and all performances are excellent. Even the usually mundance Alec Baldwin gives the performance of his career.

Just about anything by Robert Altman is up there e.g. MASH, Nashville, Short Cuts, and especially The Player, and Gosford Park.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

I was pretty taken aback at the amount of well known names going up at the beginning of The Tale of Despereaux the other day..... terrible film though.

Might have put a few guys on the map, but at the time hardly a who's who of stars, Keitel was the only real recognisable face

True Romance or Sin City would get my vote as the best actual all star film, but Mars Attacks sure had a sh*t load of famous faces in it (Cr*p movie though)

That would have to be "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf" - cast of 4, all 4 of them nominated for Oscars.

Some of the stars werent really stars at the time. Also, i think its a very over-rated film altho i realise i will be hung drawn and quartered for saying that!

Do you not think that this cast is pretty amazing in terms of star power? I couldn't get over the number of A-listers...
