    Salary entitles you to nothing extra as opposed to weekly wage. Except that odds are you will not be paid for any overtime (prob get time in lieu) & you'll learn to budget until the end of each month when you get paid. They were the biggest changes for me.....

    sry,
    what i meant is;
    what holiday entitlements should i get,
    what hours should i be working,(ie; same start times and finish times as hourly rate guys)
    should i be getting expenses,

    what is the legal rights?

    From the questions i assume this is your first job??

    All entitlements are laid out in your employment contract - you should have gotten one before you started your new job. If you haven't received it yet get onto HR.
    This should explain in detail what your package is.

    No difference between "salary" and "hourly-rate" for any of these. With the possible exception of working hours, and then it simply depends on what your contract says (as others have pointed out).
