A friend of mine is looking to buy an old style bike along the lines of the traditional dutch bikes. He's tried Cycleways already, and they only had ladies bikes in that bracket and also Eurocycles. I've suggested Wolfe's in Kimmage, who seem to sell Pashleys. Anyone else have any ideas?

My LBS in Newbridge had an old style bike on display. Think it was a Dawes of some sorts.

CRC have loads of lovely Electra bikes - I'm sure cycleways could get them in too - might be worth going to the Electra and Gazelle websites and seeing who their Irish distributor is

Here is a link to a UK supplier. The real deal and a wide range.

Lumen had a thread going about these a couple of weeks ago and I think there were links posted to other suppliers, including Pashley suppliers.

I just got my copy of the latest cycling plus magazine, which carries a review of city commuting bikes, one of which is a very Koga Miyata Citylite gents. Its described as a dutch roadster with a UK style makeover. Nice, but a bit pricey at £975 stg. 8 out of 10. Cycleways and the cycle inn in tallaght are koga dealers here.

Chainreaction delivers for free to Ireland, so you can get an Electra from there.
Other option is to fly to Holland and buy for 100-150 a good second hand there. Ryanair will bring it for €30.
I am going to Berlin in the coming weeks and plan to do that.
