    Hey,

I'm about to buy a new Burton Fix Board for the winter season. I came across this website called ProboardShop.com is it any good? The price for the board is around $469 which I think is pretty goodpic.gif

Has anyone had any experience buying a board or gear from this site?

looks like a pretty cool board, burtons answer to rocker.

Apparently you can ride these boards slightly shorter than a normal board. Google "reverse camber boards", theres a site out there that reviews them all

Actually, it's a zero camber board from B, not an answer to Reverse Camber. The Burton Hero is B's RC board.

Personally, I would not ride a fix smaller than a normal freestlye board.

As for whether it's a good board, well, yeah, the fix is great. It's a freestyle deck that has zero camber. So, it depends on what you're lookin' for in a board and what type of riding you do as to whether this will be a good board for you. It has some nice tech in it too. Scoop tip and tail (slightly raised edges on the tip & tail) to help with jibbing, and Burton's ICS system for mounting bindings, which gives the board a good flex, and with EST bindings you get all sorts of adjustibility with angles and stance width. Such a good system.

If you're lookin for a jib/freestyle deck that will hold an edge pretty well too, then I doubt you'll be disappointed with the fix. If you're lookin for an all mountain board then you might want to also look towards the Uninc (last year for it), X8, or Custom.

Price-wise, €469 is RRP for the Fix.
