what veg to cook with the turkey

Hi I am just wondering what veg are easy to cook and are tasty with the turkey and ham. I will also be doing roast and mash potato and we love all veg except brussel sprots and cellery so some ideas needed please

Heehee sprouts are the one thing my family always fights over!
I'm prob gona do carrots, sprouts, cauliflour and mushy peas (Being coerced with the mushy peas eugh!)

Though something a bit different is sweet potato mashed with carrot. We did that last year. About 1 sweet potato to 2 carrots.

Also roast parsnips and carrots is nice. Just slice each as if you were going to julienne them but don't julienne them.
Roast them in the oven with a little honey.
