Sounds as though you have a loose wire. Bring to a mechanic and he will sort it out for you...or post a question on yahoo answers for a uick response. Good luck.

Is it an aftermarket alarm? What year is the Micra?

Is it permanently on? Even when driving?

You sure it is connected to the alarm? Could have the previous owner put in a red flashing led to make it look like an alarm to deter thieves?

You might be a while! :pac:

See If you can get to the wires from behind the glove box or wedge a small screwdriver under it.

This light is normally flashing slowly when the car is locked, however now that we have re charged the battery and after the alarm going off, it is now flashing a lot quicker and is on when driving. We have put black device that came with the car into this flashing light as it fits in, but nothing has happened?:(
