At the moment my Ebay account is linked with my mums mastercard.

Is it possible for me to switch over to my AIB Student Plus account with Paypal. I got one of those Maestro Laser cards with the account.??

    Another thing.

I just left feedback for 2 items and got instant feedback in return. This is obviously automatic?

How do you set automatic Feedback?

automatic feedback would be done with power seller type programs for big sellers. If you search for automatic feedback ebay im sure u will find something.

with your first query... unfortunately no.
Irish banks are punks. behind the times.
You *must* have a credit card (visa or mastercard) to get money into your Paypal account from your own accounts. Laser card will not work. Ive been waiting for this for about 5 years :)
You can use your Bank account(im quite sure) do remove money from your PP account.

do you know about 3v.ie ? its a prepaid credit card than you go into a shop and give them your money and your card, and they give you a credit card number, expiry date, and cvv2 number. that you can use on pp

    One other thing.

If I SELL something on Ebay will the buyers money go on my 3v card on paypal?

Or is it not possible to sell stuff with 3v?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,699 ✭✭✭samhail

nope. 3v is a prepaid credit card only.
so you put money on the cc number and then basically throw it away once the money is used up, or the date is expired.

if you sell something on eBay, you can either: add your irish bank account to your account and withdraw the funds that way; or use them for other purchases.
(you could donate them to me also... but that would be the 3rd option ;))

3V Vouchers have always been a great way to buy things on eBay.ie. Now you can also use them to open an account with PayPal, fund your PayPal account or to become an eBay.ie seller.
    https://www.3v.ie/partner-ebay.html

    ? seller?;)

So If I sell something the money will be added onto my voucher(but its a credit card as you said)...Why do they say you can 'become an eBay.ie seller? is it possible? ...hmm confused?
