Ever been to Croatia?

    I was thinking about going there for a week or so at Christmas just to get away. Anyone ever been there? Is it nice?

    Personally, I thought the sea side towns were just like costa del sol except worse. Dubrovnik was the exception of course, it's really nice there. But Zadar, Pula, and Split were really horrible, oh and Zagreb, don't go there.

    10 Miles south of Dubrovnik. Cavtat nice quiet spot. A bit full of rich people About as expensive as here. No sand on the beaches though. Near the airport. Lovely seafood.

    Wow! :eek: sounds like you enjoyed yourself :rolleyes:. Can I suggest a guide book next time?

    Personally travelled there in August 2007, and am just going (26 Dec) on a road trip taking in Zagreb, Sarajevo, Mostar, Dubrovnik, Split and back to Zagreb.

    Can't wait to get back there.....
