Hotel near Liverpool Street In London?

    Just wondering does anyone know a reasonably priced nice hotel near Liverpool Street Station in London.

    liverpool st is in the centre of the City (financial district). so hotels immediately round there are likely to be expensive, and the area is quiet at night. however it is very well connected by tube to the rest of london, if you dont mind travelling in cramped tubes for 30 minuutes or so.

    there are lots of cheap ish hotels in the victoria / shepherds bush area (40/50 quid per night) but they are not great.

    Hi,

    I am nearly sure I stayed in St Gregorys a couple of years ago. Looked it up and it is now a Crowne Plaza. Decent modern hotel and about 5-10 minutes walk from Liverpool St station. I remember that it was fairly reasonable price wise.

    It's on Shoreditch High Street.

    I would recommend the Hoxton Hotel (roughly a ten min walk from Liverpool St Station) Nice trendy hotel, with resonable room rates.
