J1 in philadelphia?

    So have many people ever done a J1 here? i have family living there and would be guaranteed a job in an irish bar,is accomadation like an appartment expensive? anyone got any info or experiences would like to read them as im more then likely gonna head over there..

    On a serious note your the first person I've ever heard of going to Philly on a J1 - I don't think it's a very popular destination but that doesn't necessarily mean anything since Irish people are very herdish, just getting a craze for a particular place every year without necessarily knowing anything about it...

    haha dont mind those replies just a very immature mate of mine trying to be funny had to put him in his place ;)

    yea i know im suprised lookin at alot of threads and people seem to have gone to everywhere bar philadelphia?? i know irish do tend to go to the same destinations but i cant believe im still waiting on one response considering how popular going on an J1 is!...
