Delighted and surprised to see an Irish show that's pretty good. Andrew Maxwel has a different and better perspective from the usual cr1p on RTE>

There's very few people on Irish television I despise more than that cock.

He died a death at my work do last year. Was asked to leave the stage in fact. He's a gob****e.

I liked him before but he is starting to get on my nerves now as every second sentence is an American-bash. Haven't watched Smoke & Mirrors and have pretty much given up on The Panel...

    🤪

I think he is far better on the Panel than this show

Like Neil Delamare and Colin Murphy, he's just not talented enough to deserve a tenth of the attention he recieves.

I actually used to quite like him but there's something about him that begins to really grate after a while.

I think Neil Delamere is the most talented out of the three Panel regulars (Delamere, Maxwell and Murphy).

But I loathe Andrew Maxwell... he's loud, obnoxious and gets far too much praise. He's not a funny comedian whatsoever.

I like him, he goes off on tangents but in general he's funny. I think the panel would be a good bunch of comedy writers if RTE was capable of putting a show together.

The show is suffering from the lack of a host. They should get a US veteran over and keep him. Could create a messing in the classroom vibe.

No, they should just can it like they should've when Dara Ó Briain left. It was the best chance in half a decade RTE had of creating a funny show that could be remembered fondly and they blew it. They fúcking blew it.

Anyone that much in love with their own voice is scum in my book.

I'd say Conan O'Brien is waiting by the phone for RTE to call him alright.

He's a top class comedian, don't like how the panel has gone so politac these days though, three years ago it was a much better show!

Shock horror to myself but I finally found something funny about Maxwell!

Just now he was doing a Kung Fu demo in which he was attempting to break a piece of MDF with his elbow. Well anyway, as the camera pulled back we were treated to a view of this comedy adonis, his giant head perched on his little lollypop body with his twig arms raised ready to break the target made of sawdust & glue. As I say, it's the first time I managed to find the little manchild amusing.

    Well done andrew.

I used to think Andrew Maxwell was hilarious and this year he was playing at the comedy tent at Electric Picnic and as I was there I decided to go and see his show... My god it was the most unfunniest thing I have ever seen. I was so disapointed as he would have been a comedian I had wanted to see live for a good while.

I thought he was very good when the first season he was on the panel but he quickly gets annoying. The panel isn't funny anymore either which is a shame.

Very good comedian in my opinion. Definitely the funniest from The Panel too.
