    Hey all…

I’ll try keep this short… Story is I have fancied this girl I work with for quite a while but so did a friend of mine (also from work) so they went out a couple of time but nothing was really gona come of it… Anyway a couple of weeks ago on a nyt out in town (all of us plus about another 10 people) were out on a session and she ended up coming home with me!

Since then we have been meeting hanging out and meeting up outside work a few times a week…. Question is do I tell him and when… Hes a really good mate and know him years… Also I know they saw each other only the week b4 we got together but haven’t spoken since….

    Hmmmmm

    Cheers Anon

There's a strong chance he is going to find out anyway, especially if you think there is any chance that you two are going to end up going out - so it's probably best for your friendship if he hears it from you. And the sooner the better.

the longer you leave it, the more it's going to look like you were going behind his back. Leave it long enough and he'll get it in his head that you were already making moves while he was trying to hook up with her.

I've had mates fall out over similar, two of my best mates that have known each other since childhood haven't spoken in the last 6 years because of something similar happening, complete pain for the rest of us!

Tell him, even if it comes to naught with the girl if you value your friendship do it before he finds out off someone else. Too late at that stage.

You are better off telling him instead of finding out via a third part. I dont think you anything to feel guilty about, they didnt work out and he knew you liked her when he went out with her.

Maybe even ask him if it's ok, and that she's said she likes you, if you can hide the fact that anything else has happened so far.

What is with this kind of mentality?

Your mate liked this girl, why oh why would you take her home when you knew this?

There's nothing wrong with this so long as your up front with your 'mate' FIRST!

    It's only common decency.

    Tell him.

Can you restrict your posts here to something more constructive? And can you read the charter?
