any thoughts as to why not?

bought magic eye, tested on another box and fine, no joy on sky plus box. have turned box on/off several times and turned power to rf2 out on also....in installers menu...

You need to turn the "R.F" settings on.
Goto sky main menu > services >

Somewhere in that menu you can turn the R.F setting on.

(Not in front of the t.v right now!!!)

If you are reciving channels on the other t.v the R.F is on.

My magic eye does not work in the bedroom, eventhough it did
work on the normal sky box before i got the sky+ box in.

Replacing the eye did not work....icon8.gif ????

Plug the magic eye directly into the rf2 outlet on your box and see if it works, if it does not then you may have a fault in your box (unusual).
If it does work then post back here for more solutions.

If you have access to a voltmeter you should check output for voltage, reconfirm that power is definetley turned to rf2, im sure you did save new setting when you changed it. If you are using a push on coax connector on the rf2 outlet then try a different connector.
