Drummer needed for hard rock covers band - the likes of early Aerosmith GNR - a bit of hair metal :)

good dumb fun rock - just to get experience and some money and see what it leads to

18 to 23 mainly - but definitely over 18 - and hopefully in a similar position without too many big responsibilities ( student or part time job etc...)

Me - 21- Guitarist of 8 years ( playing style: Slash Dave Navarro John Frusciante) - I also have a bass player on board who also has a good bit of experience

let me know what gear you have and what songs you know - we can meet up and see if it works

Most important though is a good grounded person - any bands ive played in fell apart cause of personal clashes - not even about music

that and people showing up drunk, stoned or in a foul mood

But musically the only types i want to avoid are the ones into jazz or the multi-instrument classically trained types

(sorry if you are - 3 really bad experiences are enough in any lifetime)

Rough idea of songs to cover:
don't hold me to it - just a rough idea

4 or 5 songs from the likes of

early AC/DC - early Aerosmith - Guns N Roses ( Appetite era + Spaghetti incident) Motley Crüe

Alice in Chains - Janes Addiction - some Chili Peppers - Soundgarden

Some Led Zep - Hendrix - Lynard Skynyrd

fun songs: Ballroom Blitz - Cherry Pie - Holy Diver -Rebel Yell - U Mass - Are You Gonna Go My Way

hopefully a couple of Ramones songs and the likes of Foos: Everlong - Stooges/Chili Peppers: Search and Destroy - Johnny Cash's version of Solitary Man - and even the likes of CCR

I wrote out a list the other day - close to 100 songs :)
