It would be handy if you could perm delete them. Soft deleting them would be grand but I've 7 pages of deleted message messages.

Even if we could just delete ones on our own profiles as opposed to ones we make on other peoples pages that would help. That way we cant hide if we make abusive posts on other folks profiles.

For a once-off cleaning out of messages, I don't think this is necessary. If you don't want people leaving messages or seeing messages on your profile, then just make it hidden/disabled.

What would be really useful would be a "select all" box so that I could have just deleted all of those messages in one go.

Well I want people to be able to leave messages but like PM, once I delete them I'd like them to be gone. As it is I am left with a visible deleted message.

I was thinking of asking about this too. Not that I don't want people to see my visitor messages but the messages get old. I deleted them to just clean up my page but didn't realise I can't actually delete them off it properly so I have it disabled completely now.

And any new messages will appear at the top....

I can understand that this is an issue if you want to delete some but leave others, but if you're deleting everything I don't see the problem. The only person who can see the deleted bits are you, and as you get new messages, the deleted stuff disappears off the page...

I'm not saying that it's a bad idea, but I'd imagine this would be very low on the priority list :)

Ah I know its not priority but would be nice if the deleting workeda bit more like the PM system.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
