Etching Cream

Hi sorry if theres a rule against this I did not see it (If there is I must be incredibly blind).

I am looking to buy Etching Cream for Glass Etching, I asked someone who runs an art course where it could be got and she just ignorantly told me "It has to be ordered in specially" and wouldn't tell me any more on the subject.

If that is the case, Where can I "Specially Order" it from or can it just be got in the local art shop? (I would check there but I'd rather have an answer here first as its quite a bit away)
