if you're flying with ryanair or aer lingus to the uk, you can save money by booking a one-way flight to your destination, then go to their uk site and book the return flight seperately

you will save about 15% on the cost of the return flight (and that includes all the hidden extras)

the fee is charged per flight, not per booking, so a small saving on the fee

An example:

€2.99 basic + €26.22 taxes + €5.00 card fee = €34.21

same flight:

99p basic + £21.76 taxes + £4 card fee = £26.75 @ xchange rate of 89p = €30.05
