    For anyone interested, theres a display in the community centre showing the proposed parking arrangement for the forthcoming parking bye-laws.

    In essence whats being proposed is (from memory, so there may be errors):
    • paid parking along one side of main street. no parking on the other side
    • spa street is to be made one-way... out of town towards the river. This means traffic coming from the bracknagh road must go by botley lane.
    • spa street is to be 'parking one side only'
    • taxi rank out side cinema
    • paid parking in square
    • paid parking on one side of foxcroft, no parking on other
