Wow - the standard must be really terrible !

Only messing, that's a good run Dom - I'll be in there trying my luck for these sat's aswell. Our home league is going well but I'll try my luck through the SE anyway . . .

yeah but you#ve never won it from there - I reckon it could be unlucky for you.

Just a reminder that our next Satellite is a week tomorrow (Tuesday 27th).

There is no guaranteed prize pool but a good sized field is still expected.

There seems to be a good interest in tonight's Satellite so anything between 40-60 runners. That would mean between 3-5 tickets up for grabs.

The Tournament starts at 9pm but entry is allowed up until the end of the 2nd Level (9.40pm). Please call Arthur on 01-7030679 if you are going to be a little bit late.

There will be a few positive changes in the Poker room in the near future that I hope to announce in the next couple of days.

    Thanks and Good Luck,

    Alex

Hope something good comes of this, would be great to get the numbers back in the SE! Good luck to all playing this later, the Brucepoker league thing has me tempted to a pub game tonight instead of this.

40-60 would be a very good turnout. Lets hope it happens

I have always enjoyed playing in the SE whenever i get up to dublin ,but what puts me off playing now is the starting stacks for these games . I think you would get a lot more to play if the stacks were bigger as the structure seems to be pretty good.

Many runners in this? Probably give this a go in a few weeks.

Was a good game, 46 runners with 3 tickets and 2,100 quid over. Finished seventh in the end, got caught with my hand in the cookie jar

    wp Jay.

anybody know who else got the tickets?

Me, Michael Trimby & a guy I dont know (from Navan I think). 49 runners, great structure until about 4am this morning when the play was taken out of it a bit. PJ agreed to play the 4k 8k level again if required but not necessary in the end.

I found myself tumbling from just over 100k in chips to 48k @ the 4k 8k level very quickly when we were 4 handed.

Final hand: Other short stack pushed for 46K and Im in the bb with 88 and called with my 48k and held up.

Great to see the Sporting with 6 full tables again as it would still be my place of choice on my now very irregular and random poker nights out. Dam pity about the food on the break but they do now have a decent restuarant snack menu.

HOW THE SPORTING WILL NOT GUARANTEE A TICKET FOR THIS IS SIMPLY BEYOND ME...........................
