.... And the event isint for a few months yet, do they post out the tickets in the week(s) coming up to the event, or straight away when you buy them? I'd be nervous buying them online, then 2 weeks before the concert still no sign of them..... waiting by the door like a dog for them to arrive

YORE MA is for sale on Ticketmaster - Just thought i'd get that out of the way

They don't always post them straight away in my experience, but they guarantee to have them x days before event or whatever. This could be delays with my post though I guess ..

To put your mind at ease my tickets didn't arrive once - they just arranged box office collection for me on the night. The only downside to this is that if you've bought them as presents the person collecting needs your credit card to collect.

Yeah, last time I did, they posted them a few weeks before.

When I've bought online it's never straight away, but usually a good bit before two weeks before the concert./ Maybe ring up and quote your purchase number to see if they've been posted yet?

Just to remind people, even inferring to an MCD concert will get you banned.

Google if you are not sure.

Wouldn't say you'll get them before Christmas, but I'm going to something in May and got them on Friday, having ordered them about a month ago.

There is an option to print out tickets though in most cases! :D

Or referring to MCD locations too.

    Such as *removed and banned*

    Just kidding

Bought tickets online a few weeks ago and was able to print them out straight away.
Also downloaded the pdf as a backup.

Think it's an either/or choice, but I could be wrong.

Ah feck I was hoping that someone wouldn't say that

So, I can print off tickets, and hand those in when entering the concert? Surely not? As they're only a printed copy? Does that mean i've to collect the tickets at the venue? Think i'll just get them in the post (Or might even just pop into town tomorrow and buy them from a Ticketmaster outlet)

The ones I printed off are as an alternative to the regular tickets. They have a barcode on the printout with are generally scanned at the events.

What's so strange? You can get a flight to another country with a printed ticket ..

I ordered tickets last january or something that was on in June, and I got them about two weeks later.

Because it's an open air event, and anytime i've entered, there's been no bar-code readers, just a guy in a high-vis jacket who rips the strip off the ticket, hands me back the stub and lets me past the barrier?
