    If the product is not up to merchantable quality by law you can either have a refund , replacement or repair

    this is covered in the consumer information act afaik

    Xtravision have a 28 day guarantee on all products and a 12 month warranty. If it were inside the 28 days they would give you a new one straight from stock. However since it is outside the 28 days it will be sent back to Microsoft's repair centre in Germany to be fixed free of charge.

    The 28 days is got to do with the suppliers of the products. If there is problem with their goods within 28 days the supplier will give xtravision credit for the good. This deal is then passed on the customer.
