Where have you seen prices sub 90c ? I do a lot of driving round Ireland and would definitely be pulling into garages who sell petrol under the 90cent mark ?
    Thanks

Live close to it... Ferdia Filling Station, always been close to the cheapest in the country the past few months, the sister works there too!

Still not 100% sure if the fuel is of great quality but doesnt stop the 1000s of people filling up there every week!!

I fill up there every week. I also have doubts about the quality but I pass by it on the way to work and its cheap. Unleaded is 97.9, diesel 95.9 at the moment.

They had bad stuff there for a while but it's OK now.

I still go for Shell Vpower cos it's the only thing my engine runs right with.

    Diesel now 89.9

    Petrol - 94.9

Hope this trend continues.... The quality of the fuel could be an issue - with a previous car I had I filled up twice there.

Shortly after the first fill the fuel pump went. Second time (months later) a valve in the engine bust and done major damage to the piston / cylinder head!!

    Coincidence?? Perhaps...

But have had no problems lately I must admit...

Maxol Garage on the Ballymakenny Road in Drogheda selling unleaded at 93.9 cent per litre this morning

    Cheapest in Drogheda.

I think with the favourable exchange rate unleaded is cheaper in the north, not by much mind.

Surely there is a standard for fuel.

I do a lot of driving and never buy fuel around Drogheda anymore, up to 18 months ago it was on par with cheapest places in the Country.

Garage on North Street in Monaghan is doing diesel for 91.9c
Topaz and Texaco Garage on N11 (Camolin, Co Weford) diesel 92.9c
Texaco garage (Ballon, Co Carlow) diesel 91.9c

Drogheda and all the garages down to M1 on Southside of town are 2 to 3c above most other area's of country.
