so i havnt been running in about 18 months pretty much when i stopped i was up to 10K and had reached all my weight goals and stuff and iv slipped so want to get back into it

im a student so can only put aside 100euro MAX preferably less

so is there anywhere i can go around swords or in the city center to get measured and a get a good quality pair?

the last runners i had were nike that i got for 25euro in spain to be honest i loved them as i had been running in basketball runners before that and thought i had to live with sore feet after every run the cheap nikes took care of that straight away but other than that i dont really care what brand as long as they do the trick

    thanks in advance

It's hard to recommend you a pair when we don't know your gait (which they will check for your in Runways). I over-pronate and have moved on to a pair of Mizuno Inspire Wave 4's which I'm liking thus far. There €105 in Runways, I'm sure they'd knock the fiver off for a struggling student.

I have used runaways before but from my last experience they were crap went in with my bro, this new guy in the shop had'nt got a clue how to measure my bro out for a pair of runners, anyways went out to http://www.amphibianking.ie/ and got sorted. Rusty Cogs 08 those mizuno wave inspire 4 are only 65euro from http://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/Run/8/Mizuno_Wave_Inspire_4_Mens_Shoes/5360036867/

cool, thanks digitalage. I figured I could get extra pairs (which I'll need) on line. I was happy to pay the highstreet price for the first pair, fitting, gait analysis and all that. I think service in RW's is very much dependent on whether you get one of the more established guys or one of the pt students. €65 bob though, bingo bongo :pac:

If your happy to go into the shop and take up 10/15 mins of there time to get fitted, run the treadmill and analyse the data, pick out the right shoe and then walk out the door without buying then go for your life. You'll save money alright. Your choice.

if every euro didnt matter to me right now i would have no problem paying the extra but seen as im living on an overdraft right now i dont really have that luxury

Well I wouldn't call it a luxery but I take your point. Sure you can give them some business down the road.

ye i used to work in cycleways and buy my bikes there or used to at least

dosnt really matter though as i got a nice pair of size 13s asics gels with some sort of support for stopping me turning in on my ankle or something along those lines for 95yoyos and i had gotten my new phone about 10mins earlier for 40yoyo cheaper than i thought so it all worked out in the end thanks guys

now to attempt to wear them out in less than a year

If you go to Runways make sure to ask for Ash.

If you get measured and then order online just remember one thing. Sizes may differ according to manufacturer. I bought a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 8s and I wore a size 9 1/2 U.S. When I was needing another pair of shoes I ordered the Adidas Supernova Sequence in the same size and they were too small. You can go to the big Lifestyle Sports in Blanch where they have a big selection of Adidas, Brooks, Asics, and Nike.
