I know this has been posted about here before but I want to put a specific spin on things and ask specific questions.

When I was a kid I suffered from sleep paralysis and saw the old hag on a great many occasions. She would sit on my legs.

As an adult I have seen two shadow people. One was the size of a child and on a beach. It ran alongside me and seemed to speed up to such a rate that it could no longer be seen. The second was adult in size and crouched down to touch my head as I awoke. This second one seemed surprised as I sat up and it sped towards the corner of the room where it vanished. On both occasions I was naturally surprised but neither overwhelmed nor scared.

Two other people I have met have seen shadow people. One has an overactive imagination but I believed him anyway. The other is the type of sensible pragmatist who would die if it were widely known.

One other person, who was known to me, was threatened by a large shadowy man that she saw in the dead of night. She said the figure looked like the Sandeman Port character.

Now, I’m sure there’s some rational explanation for all this and I’d put it down to some flip of the brain but for the one thing I am asking you to ponder: Why are so many people seeing exact same things?

my mother once told my sister and i the next morning.that she had seen a child come into her room late at nite and took a sit at the end of her bed,she also said she couldnt move!my sister and i put it down to be a bad dream,and we never spoke of it again,its the first time ever i heard of the shadow people,........dont know why so many people are seeing the same thing??i ask the same question in my head all the time but about ufos:rolleyes:,when was it first reported [shadow people]??

I don't know when they were first reported, I'll look into that. The people I know, and myself, all saw them independently of each other and long before I ever heard them being discussed on the net. I discovered discussions and sites about them on the net by accident (God knows how) and was a bit shocked. Many people seemed too willing to believe the shadows were the Devil and other crazy stuff like that. There are less o.t.t. threads about them on this forum.

Things like witches and aliens are part of popular culture and could enter the subconscious perhaps but who are these guys?

dont know who these guys are only know that the experts are on the right steps to finding out about the subconscious mind,i think that most people see it as the devil and others might see it as a angel or signs of an afterlife,means that they turn to the bible,and believe it to be something else.The shadows i think are like the mothman in afew ways.as dr steven greer from the disclosure project says;its nice to have an open mind but not so much that your brain falls out;just have to keep your thinking simple:Dto keep your mind sane.
