Twin Peaks Gold Boxset

Got the Gold Box recently and im loving it. Its getting confusing but still enjoying it. The pilot and season 1 (very short season only 8 ep!) are the best Got fascinated with Twin Peaks when I searched the net a while back & read a lot on wikipedia about it & I just had to get the boxset after that! I remember it as a kid esp the the theme music. Was watching it one night and a scene that I remember when I was kid came on I was like WOW!!! I don't know how I remembered that scene I was so young! I will be watching ep 12 sometime soon.

What starts out well turns into mush halfway thru halfway thru season 2 and imho was rightfully abandoned by casual viewers and promptly cancelled by the ABC. It really is garbage after

Can't say I agree. Sure it weakened for a short bit after that spoiler event above, but I think it really picked up with the introduction of

Wyndham Earle and the whole White/Black lodge

. Left with one of the most frustrating cliff-hangers there's been and I would have loved to have seen where they would have gone with some of the hanging plotlines.

Hey, I know this is an old thread, but this gold boxset - does it have all the series? I can only find series 1 for sale in Dublin.

And yeah, Pigman II, the series goes a bit off the rails after that milestone; however I think it was more to do with David Lynch handing over the creative control when he headed off to do more movies, he does come back towards the end to tie up everything and the final series is Lynch sureme IMO

ixoy's got it right I think, his spoiler was the bigger picture of the thing I think.

Anyway, if anyone knows where I can get the series after 1 I'd be much obliged

Series 2 was released in Germany, so I ordered mine from Amazon.de. It comes in 2 seperate parts. I got mine within the week I also ran the site through Babelfish to help with translation

it's all pretty good up til s2e10 or so, and the series 2 finale is great too.

terrible end of season cliffhanger though
