Thinking about taking a holiday to the US next year.
Planning to go the beginning of May starting off with 4 days in Vegas and finishing with 3/4 days in Chicago
Ive been looking for somewhere to spend a week inbetween somewhere a bit less hectic. Initially I thought of Florida but not sure If it will be too hot at that time of the year? also don't want to somewhere very built up.
Ideally id like a fantastic beach nice food and a general chill out for a few days possibly with some activities available.
Also I want direct flights and Ive ruled out california -because ive been there bit already
Possibly Hawaii but that would mean a long flight then to Chicago
Saw flights to Atlanta anyone any experience of the coast in Georgia?
    Any other suggestions?

florida won't be too hot in may, it will be high 20s low 30s, more than likely colder than vegas but with humidity

Santa Monica is not too far from Vegas, about a 5 hr drive. Really nice spot and you can fly to Chicago from LAX

Lock away your Florida & Chicago money so that you can't touch it while in Vegas. It is Vegas after all :D
