Still places left in TSM for last minute changes?

I know a JF doing Business Studies and German who wants to change into something more artsy within TSM. He want to keep on the German but scrap the Business for something more fun… like Eng Lit, French, History, Ancient History or Art History. He has oodles of points.

The problem is, I’ve told him, places need to be available. And I guess all the more popular TSMs, and so likely full up. So where might there still be places left, apart from Bible, Jewish and M.E. studies !? (I know he’ll have to phone up the tutor, or Sen Lecturer if he is serious about changing, and they’ll the info in any case).

People could have dropped out, but I think it's still a first come first served situation so if there's a place now there could be someone else thinking the same... if he's serious get on it soon!

Like Myth said, people may have dropped out, but they may also have switched from the TSM to a single moderatorship course as places became available in the latter, hence freeing up places for other TSM students. For instance, I know someone who started out doing drama and modern Irish, and dropped Irish to move into the single honour drama because someone had dropped out of that, hence my friend freed up space on the modern Irish course.

It's a bit of a chain reaction in that case, but nothing's guaranteed, so your friend should start making phonecalls ASAP. I think the closing date for transfers etc is coming up in January, check your students union diary (the homework journal type thing you got when you registered.)

Might any other JF here be looking to change course perchance ?
