Rathfarnham Credit Union Attempted Robbery

    I'm of the opinion that 10 years ago they wouldn't have got these guys. BMW 530s flying to the scene of the attempted robbery yesterday, christ they can move!!

    I normally go over to the village on a friday but cause of the rain i missed all the action, damn!!!

    That was ERU in BMW 530s. And in a Bank robbery in the 90s........ Gardai shot dead 2 of them....

    Correct!! They drove past me on Rathfarnham road. Funny thing was the raiders had to enter through the private enterance to a block of apartments in order to ram the door they did. Whichever master planner came up with that idea deserves a kick up the arse for stupidity. :rolleyes:

    Aye that was my first thought - you essentially have to enter an area which could potentially be blocked by two cars - one at a push. Idiots.

    Im usually standing at the banklink machine directly oppisite the credit union, but the machine in centra in endas drive was working so didnt have to go! Glad no-one was hurt:)

    Hmmm actually if I'm bothered I might take a couple of pictures this morning, especially for those of yee who don't know rathfarnham credit union, just to illustrate how thick these fellas were. Probably burnt valuable minutes executing a 3 point turn to get out as well.
