To drive or not to drive?

    HI just wondering if its a good idea to drive from wexford to waterford every day to go to WIT.

    Dose anyone know what the traffic is like, how long it would take or any tips for parking etc

    Parking is a nightmare, you need to be there at 9 in the morning to be sure of getting a spot. I'd say with the amount you would spend on petrol and the time you would be wasting getting there and back, you'd be better off looking for an apartment close to the college.

    You would want to bear in mind also that the traffic on the N25 approaching Waterford Bridge can be very slow between 8 and 9am.You could easily be waiting 15/20min to get across the bridge from that side.

    Wasnt there a private bus , I think its still going that runs from Wexford to WIT every day?

    the ferrybank side is a nightmare rom 8 onwards coming into waterford..
    parking is a joke, ya have to be there at 20 to 9 to get a space without been clamped.. best bet get a place down here and walk to college :)

    I drove up and down for a year , its tough going, I left at about 7 every morning, I would arrive at the college around half 8 no problem parking, but sitting in traffic in ferrybank for half an hour every morning is the worst.
    Then the way home is very bad too especially if you leave at 5, it often took 30 mins to get out of the city, then another 30 in Ross.

    There is yeah, its 25€ a week, but only leaves waterford at 1.15 and 5.30 i believe
