HOME AINT WORKING WTF!!!!!!

Saw home when i turned on my ps3 today nd almost wet myself in pure happy and everythings all set up ready to go then i get this "cannot connect to the server" WTF!!!!!! thats a massive kick to the balls why is this happening the nets is fine on the ps3 i checked it after to make sure nd its all grand so whats going on???? is the server down????????

I would imagine the servers are being overloaded with people giving it a try out. Its also coming into peak US usage with most people coming home from work over there.

Shame Sony can't afford enough bandwidth and servers to cope. Must be the global downturn

itll probably calm down soon, must be a massive load on the servers with practically everyone who has a ps3 trying to get it to work.

I tried to get onto it last night, the home beta updated this took 2 attempts after itstopped updating, i was blaming the ISP! After it updated i had 20mins to get into home see what was going on but it would not log on. Pity.

I was wondering will the same home work for the beta and the fully open version?

Well I got in just an hour ago and after mucking about and seeing what the fuss was all about I have to say I am fairly impressed. As an interface for meeting people to play games it's a bit of fail, but as an open world to explore and do some interesting things related to the Playstation, it's quite a success. I went to the theatre to see what it had and went into the EurogamerTV room where a Nissan/GT5 thing was playing. Now I grave a bit of GT action.

The constant loading of areas is a bit annoying, but having the director of "300 and watchmen" give a personal message to Home (on loop) is quite cool, and shows how committed Sony are, I suppose.

I look forward to seeing what they can do with this!

I have to agree with that. I had a beta code and visited 3 times in total. I fail to see the point. Bowling was ok and not too hard to get a game. Pool was great but very hard to get a game. Too few tables and too many people. Arcade games are poor. Cinema stuff bored me. Will not be going back.

I agree - epic fail. However, I didn't expect much anyway....
