Why do motorists have to drive with four headlight! It really winds me up as a cyclist and a motorist!

was out cycling tuesday night, on very dark roads around the airport, swords, malahide area... and many drivers failed to dim their headlights upon seeing us (a group of 3)??? so basically, we couldn't see a thing past their blinding lights! muppets.

Get better lights, and if necessary direct it straight at them until they dip. Honestly it is very effective, I get 99% compliance even without having to point it at them. On pointing you will in the vast majority of cases get an immediate dip. The flip side of this is that you will have to dip yourself.
