I've stumbled accross an eBay shop/seller (power seller, 2500 sold, 99.3%) where he/she has some serious offers on cameras/kits/lenses. But........nobody's bidding at the moment, only the occasional bid on one item, I've watched cameras being re-listed.
So....Catch22 situation, do I tell ye the name of the eBayer and risk loosing a bargain, or tell ye about it and see if its a genuine eBayer.
Its all very puzzling, as I see loads of eBayers selling cameras/lenses & nearly every item gets bidded upon !!!!
I'm stumped, any ideas for me .........

The even wierder thing is, the negetive comments made by the seller to the Negetive comments he got from the buyer (which weren't too bad) are VERY RUDE, ie. comments like 'racist', all written in bad English (sentance not making sense).
But......all positive comments are excellent !

Remember the general rule of buying online - If it seems too good to be true, it is.

Any chance that it would be a dormant account which was hijacked?

Could be completely above board in fairness but your intriguing description leads us to believe there's something of note about it. Or maybe its just global recession :(

With a quick look / analysis - not trying to put any of ye off when there may be genuine good deals to be had, but i hate looking at ebay shops where almost all items are "new" items (sunrise items) particularly when many of them have very short time to go times. Sports of someone looking for a sucker that will think they have a great deal at the last minute that no one else on this planet has found - This could also be genuine but urrggghhhhhhh i get an icky feeling about this one.

Also, the aul Queens English isn't the best on item descriptions for example "ITEM WILL BE SEND BY ROYAL MAIL NEXT DAY DELIVERY FULL INSURE" which again mightn't mean anything other than the chap is bad at English grammar and would at best be circumstantial evidence in a legal case - for a Uk business seller though its pretty bad stuff.

Much of the gear appears second hand - in very good condition.

Eeeek - I just get a bad feeling about it.

yeah the stuff i saw seems to be second hand so the prices are low you would see the same prices in ffordes I think.
