Sounds like a good idea, alot of guys i know skirmish on private sites. Might be fun inviting teams onto your own turf and vice versa

Rather than set up a conflicting league I suggest you get in touch with the IPAL guys, as far as I know IPAL is 99% ready to go and all that is awaited is a few more teams signing up, it should definitely get rolling in 2009, the guys have put a lot of work into it so far and it's gonna be deadly once it kicks off.
