Isn't that graphics card horrible for an XPS?

It is like buying a ferrari and putting a fiat punto engine in it yes.

Watch out for that TrueLife display - I got one with mine and was sorry - I find it very glossy and reflective of behind-you lighting (looks great for films though)

does anyone know if you can connect a dvd player or ps3 to the monitor?

Very doubtful, it would need some sort of video input which is rare.

The XPS One has a hybrid analog/digital TV tuner as standard (even on the base model) so you've got S-video and composite inputs, and L/R audio.

So yes, you can connect a DVD player or PS3. However, in the case of the PS3, you can't get a HD-signal into the monitor, and in the case of the DVD player, why bother, it has a DVD drive built in anyway.
