So with Christmas coming up most people should have a couple of days (or weeks if you're lucky) off.

What shows will people be using the time to catch up on?

    For me it's

    Californication Season 2
Dexter Season 3 (I've seen about 4 episodes)
Pushing Daisies Season 2 (from about ep 5)

If I have time, I'll also try to start watching either Chuck or 30 Rock.

    Hmmm... a fair few:

Haven't caught up with Pushing Daisies.. probably won't bother now that it's practically been axed. Same goes for Eli Stone for the same reason.

Caught up with 'The Sarah Connor Chronicles' a month or two back only to fall behind by at least 6 or 7 episodes since.

Started on Angel just before the busy TV season started.. so need to finish that. Was on about episode 16 on season 1.

Started The Wire - season 3 last Summer and lost it in a disk crash.

Also have every episode of Shameless (bar the first 3) to watch.

    Wanted to watch Survivors but missed it entirely.. now it's 4 - 5 episodes in so I'm waiting for a marathon on BBC2 / BBC3 / BBC4 / BBC5 / BBC6 / "BBC Eleventy". Or a boxset.

Also never finished The West Wing.. am on about Season 5.

Probably a load more but that's off the top of my head.

Assuming I had limitless access to the TV ..

    - Take the wrapping off Band of Brothers DVD boxset (bought about 2 years) and actually watch it.
    - HBO mini-series Generation Kill
    - Accelerate progress through The Wire (currently nearing end of season 2)
    - Movies & documentaries recorded off TV to HDD & DVD that I've never managed to watch

But I don't have limitless access to TV, so I'll probably end up watching Dave or Gold

I caught the first two then missed the third. Good show which I must catch up on.

Will be catching up on The 4400. Just finished Season 2.

Not so much catching up, but will be watching as many of my favourite smarmy Christmas movies. It's the only time of the year I can enjoy sappy, heart warming films :o

    - The Mentalist - heard it's good but haven't watched any of the 9 episodes so far...
    - True Blood - same, have the full first season to watch...
    - Generation Kill - that one has been sitting idle for ages...
    - Band of Brothers - never got around to this one either...
    - Sons of Anarchy - watched about 3 episodes of the first season but have another 10 to go. Apparently it gets much better 6-7 episodes in...

That should keep me busy for awhile :D.

Had the last season of ER (Season 14) and all the episodes of season 15 aired so far on my hard drive. There hasn't been much on so I managed to watch them all in the last week and a half,so I am totally caught up now.

Have only watched 2 episodes of Californication seaosn 2,so have to catch up with that.

Have Generation Kill saved, but still have to watch it.

Also still have this season of Without a Trace to watch.

So plenty to keep me busy! :D

The Mentalist, The Shield (only on Season 2 at the moment.... bliss!) and Dexter S3 (I've only seen 2 of them)

    Hmmm, good question...

Hoping to start 3rd season of the West Wing - why did i never watch this before!? excellent show.

I too will also hope to get started on season 3 of dexter (has it finished in the U.S yet?)

Definitely need to download season 5 of House (when does this finish??? ), it's probably only half way through:(

Need to watch the last season of Six Feet Under.

I'm working my way through the first season of Bones at the minute, so might start on the 2nd season.

Oh, and Season 7 of Family Guy, haven't seen any of them!!

    :D

Planning to get around to some of the newer episodes of Family Guy and have yet to begin watching the Wire (which shouldn't be too hard seeing as I'm buying myself seasons 1-4 as a present :D)
