I'm going to rec a session in the local the week of christmas,

I've decided to go for a stereo mic mix to get the feel of the actual session but I've never done anything like this before so I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this.

    Instrument-wise there will be

    3 acoustic guitars
    1 banjo
    1 fiddle
    1 cajon
    1 bodhran
    1 bass (amplified)

it's not a 'trad' session either as these guys just do modern covers that always get a place going.
