Hi. as people might know, i'm a photographer and wants to print out some buisness cards for advertisment, and I basically wondered has any of you guys done it? In case where? I see there's a lot of places that does it for free, but you have to pay the shipping.. is there anywhere that does the shipping for free as well?

I know there's a lot of cheap ones out there but I don't want to pay anything :p.. I have a few upcoming photography jobs, so until I get some money then, i want it for free...hehe

Doubt it. Very few businesses survive by giving their stuff away.

Would some of the insert €3 here ones you get from vending machines do you until you can afford professional ones?

Can you do photography for free ... and travel too ? :D

But seriously even though that was serious.

www.Moo.com are quite nice from what I've seen of them (think they even will print multiple photos in the one batch (as in photos on the back side)

Vistaprint free = vistaprint plastered on the back of the cards read the small print also check just how much the shipping is :)

I used snap in the past for a later that day kinda rush job.

Whatever you do upgrade the paper quality from the bog standard and you won't regret it

If you do find anywhere, make sure you tell everyone else. I have way too much expense with my biz and need to start saving some money so it all helps.

I've used Vista print and I think they are excellent.postage works out at €6.

Years ago, I made business cards out of a machine in Bus Aras... they were €6 aswell and they were shoddy to say the least.

I'd be well surprised if you get them anywhere for free!

I have used Vistaprint too. The cards are fine .... it's just the SPAM from them that gets annoying, either that or I am very lucky with all the stuff I win from them. Maybe placing the order from a little used email address could help.

I have done the design myself, and all the ps work, just want the printing for free :p

You could print them yourself....Get some decent card from an Art & Hobby shop. You get what you pay for really but this is one approach to take.

    🤪

As above I printed a fair few myself before for me ans my brother. You can get a pack of 100 cards for around 10 euro in pc world.

If I give you the business cards free will you do my wedding photos for nothing?
I mean, I am only starting in business...

    :p

were do you live? I would normally charge like 5-600 for a wedding, unless I make you a cheaper deal... and printing out 250 buisness cards would only cost me about 15 euro, with my own design on it,..

I don't think that was the point she was making ;)

You can't expect everything for free, business dosn't work like that.

dear god! ... you'll charge 500 - 600 quid for a wedding but you'll skimp at spending 20 - 30 quid on business cards of high quality that can be used as a rather impressive tool to showcase your work ?

    ( think priorities man / woman / other! )

Agree with the above - just pay for it...You can make up the money by having one night out less / don't buy a DVD or game / sell something (a couple of DVDs on adverts)

    🤪

I know I don't have a problem with paying for it, I just wanted to see if it could be done for free :p

There is little for free in this world.

If you mean "without having to pay money" then you have possibilities. Find a nice friendly printer, offer your photographic services for something he needs in exchange ,and Bobs you Aunties husband.

Do let us know how you get on though.
