    320kps

but you should really export to wav.. unless you have a reason for needing to export mp3.

Best resolution to record at is 24 bit, then you have sample rates, the higher the better but the more taxing on your computers CPU.

    Sample rates:

    44.1 CD
    44.8
    88.2
    96 DVD

yup export 24 bit wav (or aiff).

I always export as wav. I know 32 is the highest aswell. Maybe what i should of said was if i want to put a song up on the internet what would be a descent enough quality? I need a file small enough but i don't want to have it all muffled either. I hear bands mp3's on myspace etc and they sound good. How can i get this result without compromising too much of the quality? Thanks everyone

since myspace uses its own compression the only real way to get it to sound good is to get an external flash player and load your tunes onto it.

or get your mixdown as crystal as possible and start hoping the conversion is kind to your tunes!

To answer your question : 128 bit is good enough and can be streamed fast from the average computer!

    Sign up with these!

    Create a player with these:

What is the biggest file size you can ad to myspace? Also another reason for me wanting to export sessions as mp3's is to send songs via email. Most email clients allow no more than 10mb an email. Unless anyone knows different? Thanks

    Use Gmail or http://www.yousendit.com/

Yousendit is the best for sending large files

Myspace biggest file is around 9.2 megs but no matter how large the mp3 is, it is all reduced to crappy quality!
