Free Space to Work?

So a friend and I have a decent idea for a little business but need somewhere where we can get together occassionally to work as neither of us have accomodation which is in any way suitable.

Can anyone think of a small space in Dublin city with net access which we could use (for free!)? Other than net access all we require is a desk, 2 chairs and privacy. I was thinking some of the city libraries would have rooms that we might be able to use. Anyone know or have alternative suggestions.

if you have a laptop any of the city libraries would be perfect

then you would get the free internet without having to wait on a commputer

also check the colleges and universities ,most of them have free wifi

would be good for research etc but you cant really make much noise in most of them which is inconvenient if you need to take calls

The problem with just dropping into a library is that the reason we need to get together is to brainstorm, so I'm looking for a room where we won't need to worry about annoying others with talking.

In UCD the library used to have little rooms you could reserve, but the problem is the college libraries won't let in non-students. Was hoping some of the public libraries might have something similar.

mobile broadband only costs €20 a month thesedays

you could just get a modem and use it in your bedroom etc

it works everywhere a mobile phone works so you could move freely with it

withouit being tied to an address

Do the Starbucks over here have free wireless like in America? Because when I go travelling in January, that is how I intend to work on business plans and my little ebay business that I currently have.
