It is possible to buy a DVD recorder with 250GB harddrive for about 200-250 euro. (e.g. philips dvdr3575h or 3597h)
It is also possible to buy a DVD recorder for about 100 euro and a seperate 1000GB external hard drive for about 100 euro.

As far as i can make out, the only differene is that if you are willing to sacrifice the sleek look of an all-in-one unit, you can have a much better setup for the same price with the same functionality and more storage capacity.

    Am i right or wrong?
