now that there's 50% off the price, I'm considering buying one. Does anyone have one and would you recommend it? From looking at the specs, I have a couple of questions :

Could a set-top box (sky) be connected to it?
Could a games console be connected to it (wii, xbox 360 or ps3)?
Can the memory be easily upgraded from 2gb to 3 or 4?

    thanks

I reckon the memory upgrade would be simple, in fact you may even be able to do it when you are purchasing the machine. You will probably get a chance to adjust the specifications of the machine as you go along, that's usually the way the Dell website purchase works.

Not sure about the other two questions though...

Only through the pc if you get a tuner card.

Doesn't look like it excepting by the same method as sky i.e. not HD/scart which will lead to a poorer picture.

You can probably order it with 3 or 4 gigs. I don't know about upgrading it after the fact as some of these compact desktops can be tricky to open and navigate.

From looking at the dell site it looks like you are stuck with th 2gb memory - there doesn't seem to be an option to increase it to 4gb. Pity. It might be possible to do it with a screwdriver at home, but I don't know how.
