Beer was €30 a crate in the 70's? £23.70 in punts.

Still an alright deal.

In fact many moan about the price of drink but it has dropped considerably since when I first was drinking 15years ago. Back then the cheapest can was £1, €1.27. Bottles of heineken or other macro-piss brands were £1.19+ so about €1.50.

Last heinken bottles I got were 63cent with vouchers taken into account.
