    Hey

Basically im looking at engineering in trinity, or omnibus engineering in ucd.

Anyone here do any of these? Or anyone any opinions on which would be the better?

Also interested what college would be the best to go to in terms of atmosphere, ive heard ucd are cracking down on campus parties and general craic around the place!

    Thanks for any comments!

to be honest you wont be seeing much craic with engineering anyway unless you intend to repeat alot.

both colleges are cracking down big time

If youre really sure engineering is for you then TCD is a good choice. Its a good course but long hours and a massive class of about 200. If you like doing maths all the time and I mean all the time then go for it. However if you dont do subjects like chemistry and tech drawing its a serious hurdle to get over. Nobody told me!:(

Cheers! TCD is gone down as first choice anyway

Love maths, and do physics and applied maths aswell so thatl be handy, do tech drawing so thatl be handy and not mad on chemistry but ill get over it, not all that bad

    Thanks!

hey, I know im just hijacking threads left right and centre here (w00t, I should get a status change to that)
But Im wondering similar enough. If I go for engineering in TCD, rather than UCD, will the fact that its a BA rather than a Bsc make any difference?
All the info I can get is its for |"historical reasons"

Trinity degree is the BAI, which is latin for Beng, because of history, theyd have to use the fancy lingo
    UCD is Beng

Both the same degree, the bachelor of engineering (Beng), is the one employers and the like look for aparently!
